GEO: From Questions to Evidence

A practical course for vocational learners and beginners. Learn to collect questions, check sources, improve content, and report what the evidence shows.

What you will make

Build a small, reviewable evidence package for a fictional campus bicycle service. Start from the supplied local pages and recorded answers. Finish with a fact-checked FAQ, a measurement sheet, and a short report that a classmate can verify.

You need basic browser, folder, and spreadsheet skills. Coding, API keys, and paid accounts are not required. All case observations are labelled as teaching examples; they are not measurements of a live AI service.

Five cycles of guided practice

Each pair of workshops connects two dependent outcomes. Support gradually decreases: study a worked example, complete a guided attempt, and then apply the method independently.

How the course was designed

The design combines seven publicly readable learning resources, the supplied Shenzhen Polytechnic University training exercises, and the earlier GEO course plan. We selected useful teaching patterns and adapted them to source-based work. The comparison supports these design choices; it does not establish that one format is experimentally superior.
